Mack Bertram was born and raised in Lodi, California. He attended Tokay High School for four years and received all league honors while playing. Bouncing around a few different colleges Mack finally found a home in Mitchell College. He came into a winless team halfway through the season for his first year and made an immediate impact. Starting out 0-12 he was then able to help turn the season around while leading the team to a playoff berth. Battling through injuries in his senior season campaign he was still able to shoot the ball among the highest percentages in the country, while leading the nation in assist to turnover ratio.

Mack competed against all levels of competition at the collegiate level where he excelled in more ways than one. He graduated with a bachelors degree in Sports Psychology from Mitchell College. He has been in and out of coaching and training young athletes since he graduated high school. While coaching at Jim Elliot High School he was able to help turnaround a team that won only 8 games the previous year to stringing off 19 straight wins and the best record in school history at 24-5.

“Deciding to take a further step into being more involved in the ‘EliteIQHoops’ family was easy for me. I have been involved with this program for 5 years now as a player and am excited to help this brand continue to thrive on and off the court now as a trainer. Striving for excellence not only on the basketball court but off as well, is something I am happy that this program takes pride in. This is instrumental in my beliefs because life goes further than this game.”
